THE STORY SO FAR:

DECEMBER 2020
Josh & Rachel move to Portland, Oregon.
APRIL 2021
Makers holds their first team meeting on the back porch of Josh & Rachel's house.

We began with 19 people, all from different walks of life and backgrounds to help shape the Makers community.

MAY 2021
Our community continues grow!

Since the beginning of the year, we've seen more people join our team, began several local partnerships, and continue to evolve our community.

“From the moment I stepped into PDX, I knew this would be home one day. I fell in love with the city, the community, and the culture. There’s a sense of unity within the city that I love so much."

- Will Dash

JUNE 2021
Lisa Saunders, a born and raised Portlander, has a deep discussion with the Makers community on the racial history of Portland.
JULY 2021
Makers finds their home: The Laurelhurst Presbyterian Church.

Through the generosity of the Portland Presbytery, we were able to solidify our first home in the heart of SE Portland.

AND THAT BRINGS US TO TODAY.
To launch with both excellence and sustainability, we are looking for outside partners to help us write the foreword to the story of Makers.
